50 e 50
In autumn 2025, I had the privilege of co-curating and participating to multi-media exhibition “50e50”, alongside renowned photo editor and curator Giovanna Calvenzi.
The exhibition celebrated the 50th anniversary of Radio Popolare, the only Milanese-based independent radio that has been working as mouthpiece for the city’s young and liberal wave since the tumultuous Italian Lead Years of the 70s.
From December 2025 to January 2026, the exhibition, in collaboration with Studio Azzurro, welcomed 20,000 visitors at the historic Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.
Consequently, we released a 175-page catalogue published by Contrasto Books collecting the most relevant photographic material, including works by Gianni Berengo Gardin, Gabriele Basilico, Uliano Lucas, Mario Dondero and many more.
